From 2010 all our products are gluten free. The first customer who bought our products gluten free is from New Zealand; our product was tested in New Zealand by an independent laboratory and confirmed to be gluten free.
Gluten is a composite formed from several different proteins. It is found most commonly in wheat and other related grains, such as barley and rye. Adding texture and a characteristic chewiness to baked goods, this ingredient is used in a wide variety of other foods as a thickener and binder, flavor enhancer, and protein supplement. Gluten can also turn up in unexpected places, like certain brands of chocolate, imitation crab (surimi), deli meats, soy sauce, vitamins and even some kinds of toothpaste. Some people can develop intolerance to these proteins; however a gluten-free diet often helps to alleviate symptoms caused by this intolerance and prevents further damage to the body.
When people with gluten sensitivity eat foods containing gluten, it triggers unpleasant symptoms: stomach pains, bloat, heartburn, joint pains, headache, skin rashes, fatigue, insomnia and brain fog, to name some of the most common.
Gluten is different from protein in other grains (such as rice) and in meat (such as steak) in that it is difficult for humans to digest completely. It can make some people very sick but not everyone.
We look after all kinds of users even if you are in the 1% of the population who are intolerant to gluten. Our vision is to let all kinds of people enjoy our products without any anxiety.
